Cute Clinique Ad Idea

I was sorting through my saved magazine pages and happened upon these!

Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes.
Clinique Chubby Stick and Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Color Balm.
I thought the idea for these ads was so cute.

Both ads were taken from InStyle December 2013 issue.

Doesn't she look like a slightly younger Alexa Chung?

CoverGirl's #instaGLAM Collection Ad ft. Katy Perry!

CoverGirl's #instaGLAM Collection Ad ft. Katy Perry!
I love the layout of the ad!
Ever since Katy Perry was named a #CoverGirl in October I've been really excited to see her in an ad. She looks gorgeous! I'm really excited for the Colorlicious Lip Gloss, I'm really digging that Hot Pink shade she's wearing in the ad! ;)

Some more colors in the XL Nail Gloss collection.
I know some people have already got their hands on some of the glosses even though they were supposed to some out in June? (I thought?)

Oh well, I'm keeping my eye out!!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in 200 Soft Beige

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in 200 Soft Beige
200 Soft Beige
I like the packaging, it's simple but modern.
You may think that the bottle is small but a little of this stuff goes a long way.
If you look below that blob was more than enough to cover the entire front of my thigh.

This is a blob of it on my thigh
As you can see in the picture above my thigh and scarred and has dark spots.

It really did give my thigh an airbrush look about it. This is in natural sun light.
The Liquid Mousse Foundation made it look like I had tights on. I gave my thigh an amazing airbrushed look.

I like that it's not opaque. It gives a more natural look.

This is the transition from Foundationed to Natural.
As you can see, you do have to make sure you rub it in :)
I like the formula it lasted well over four hours and it's super light and not greasy feeling. It doesn't really have a smell either.

Overall I would totally buy this again, but maybe in True Beige. I'll make the #StayMatteSwitch ;)

Review and Swatches of Bath & Body Works Whipped Shimmer Body Cream in Vanilla Bean Noel

Bath & Body Works, Holiday Traditions, Whipped Shimmer Body Cream in Vanilla Bean Noel.
I know reviewing this may not seem totally relevant since it's from Holiday Traditions 2013 but I'm doing it because you can still buy them from online marketplaces like amazon and ebay.
Also Bath & Body Works has limited edition Whipped Shimmer Body Cream in scents from their Signature Collection in their lineup.
Find them here.

And honestly I don't think would've changed their formula from December to now.

A whipped cream-like bottle and dispenser.
Close up: Can you see the shimmer???? :D
I love this stuff. The smell is so good I literally want to eat it. It makes me hungry for sweets.

I also love how shimmery it is. The glitter is gold too! GOLD!!!

My fiance hates it but I love it! It makes me feel like a pretty fairy :D

Also the shimmer is shimmer, not glitter. So even though it is chock full of shimmer it's not gaudy. It's actually semi-subtle. It gives your skin a luminous golden glow.

This is it semi rubbed in.
The finish of this lotion isn't greasy, which is awesome! It also moisturizes nicely.

How cute are these?

I LOVE mini stuff. It doesn't matter what it is. If it's mini I love it lol.

Mini alcohol bottles! :D

I love how the Disaronno actually looks like the original bottle, very detailed!

I love the colors used in the Kinky Liqueur. The bottle itself is nothing special but everything altogether is special.

Too Cute? Right? :)

The Back
Packaging and Bottle
Well for me the best part of Body by Victoria was the bottle, other than that it was a flop. I hated it.

Body by Victoria
Body by Victoria, cap off.
Going by the description from the site you'd think this would smell young and fresh, and sexy, right?

Wrong.

For me this defiantly did not smell "refreshing", "airy" or "fresh".
For me it smelled like the opposite. It was heavy and musky and VERY old ladyish.
It was a very heavy floral scent and both me and my fiance hated it.

Closeup, Body by Victoria
The smell literally made me think of an old lady in a coffin.

I tried to wash it off my wrist after with soap and water and it lingered even then.

The bottle is very beautiful though.

Verdict: LOVE the bottle, HATE the scent.

Verdict: LOVE the bottle, HATE the scent.

Verdict: LOVE the bottle, HATE the scent.

I don't get how this could ever be "One of [their] most sought-after and loved fragrances..."

Any lovers out there?

Did you hate it too?
