Sally Hansen Nail Polish

I did my nails using Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat in 09 Wave Break and Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Lava 006.

I think they came out pretty good, don't you?

I was kinda disappointed that the blue crackle polish didn't show the pretty purple sheen you see in the bottle but the Lustre showed all the colors you saw in the bottle.

Umm.. so it didn't quite turn out..

Bloody Herpe Hand Nail Art? Not really what I was going for but ermm.. it's halloween? lmao.

I was inspired by the caviar nail art trend AND obviously failed to replicate it haha.

Enjoy laughing at my screw-up lol :)

SheInside Shopping Review

So just recently I reviewed the online shop Oasap, favorably I might add, check it out here.

I won a free trial from the shopping site SheInside and from what I gather they are similar to Oasap. They are both located in Hong Kong, both sites offer similar items, and often times same items, they have the same site layouts and the same free trial business and both offer free standard shipping.

Except for me one is better than the other. I ordered from both sites at around the same time and I already got my package from Oasap, I ordered from them 10/03/13.

I ordered a sweater from SheInside on 10/09/13 and I just got a packaged shipped email confirmation from them on 10/27/13... WHAT? Yes, just a couple days ago I got a shipment confirmation from them. Oasap is way quicker, even though I picked the free shipping option from both sites.

I will update this review with the actual sweater review once I well.. actually get the sweater lol.

OASAP Leggings Review

So I ordered two pairs of leggings from Oasap.com on 10/03/2013 and I just got the package today, 10/18/2013.
So before you say, "What the hell, why did it take so long?", I'll tell you this, they are a Chinese company and they ship from Hong Kong and the shipping was also FREE. Yep they have free standard shipping for every order. If I remember correctly the other shipping prices weren't too bad either, I'm just super cheap haha. The leggings were packaged in their own plastic bags and those two plastic bags were housed in a separate plastic bag which was then stuck in the shipping bag. They did not include a return slip.
So on to the good stuff. These are the leggings I bought. The Muscle Print Leggings were $21.17 and the Galaxy Print Leggings were $24.57. The prices change all the time though so they could be different now. One thing I didn't like about them is that they only come in One Size. Usually I'm an XS so I was worried about the fit.

My Stats are: Hips are 30 in. around, Waist is 25 in. around, and I'm around 93 pounds. My Height is 4'11".
CONS They don't conform all the way to my legs (in the knee area) like I would like and the crotch area wrinkles from it not fitting correctly but it's nothing I'm going to sent them back over, (you get what you pay for). They are also really long on me but I'm used to that, being 4'11" and all lol.
PROS The material is nice and thick and the colors are vibrant, they look more expensive then they really are.

These designs are knock offs from Black Milk Clothing whose leggings run $70 and up. The fit of these leggings is the only thing that yells out CHEAP, well that and the stitching. The stitching isn't bad they're holding up, but they aren't super tight.. like you can see the stitching..

Overall I think I'll buy from them again :)

I hope you like my review and if you have suggestions and comments be sure to well.. comment haha.

I WILL UPLOAD MORE PHOTOS SOON.

I made an interesting technique..

I really like the effect but it would be hard to master. I just painted four layers on my nails (two coats per color) and then carefully removed some parts of the layers using nail polish remover. I like it, kinda tye-dye.

Did I inspire you? Will you try it? Have you ever made up a new technique?

Born Pretty Holo Polish

So.. I got sent a sample of this to blog about (Yay!) ..

As you can see in the photo one coat of polish gives you a sparkly sheer wash. You'll need two to three coats to get an opaque look, like I have on the second nail. I think as a holographic polish this fails, there are rainbow sparkles in it but if you look at polishes like Color Club's Halo Hues, you can get a helluva more holo effect. It does have a nice shine though, but also the brush (maybe cause it was a mini?) was too 'fluffy' for me, it made the application extra hard.

Zoya Pixie Dust in Solange

This is from the Summer Edition and I love it! GOLD! GOLD!! GOLD!!! It's so beautiful to look at. It dries pretty fast and it has a sandy, rough texture that I love to rub my figures against. One coat will give you a sheer coverage which you could use as a top coat to give another color some bling. I used three coats for the full coverage effect in the picture below.

I need more!!! :)

Color Club Halo Hues 2013, 998 Miss Bliss Review

I got mine on Amazon for around $8.00. I love this polish because you only need one coat of it. It's thick enough that it doesn't need two coats but not so thick that it's that gummy type of polish. The color is vibrant and the halo effect actually looks like a halo effect.
I'm definitely going to stock up on more colors.
