Victoria's Secret Bombshell in Paradise Limited-edition Eye Shadow Duo

Even though this is an out dated product, I think it still stands to show the quality of makeup by Victoria's Secret.

That and I love the product photography I did for it hehe.

The formula is shit but the packaging is just so pretty. Think of it as a prop for your makeup stand haha.

Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain full collection (Swatches & Review)

Pictured left to right: 001 India Intrigue, 005 Parisian Passion, 010 LA Exclusive, 015 Barcelona Nights, 020 Rio Rush,   025 Cannes Crush, 030 Milan Moment, 035 Miami Fever, 040 Shanghai Sizzle, 045 New York Scene, 050 London Posh, 055 Stockholm Chic.
The Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain collection consists of 12 shades.
The packaging is nice because there are windows that show that actual color of the formulas.
I like that the Revlon logo is perpendicular to the product name, it's eye catching.

The standouts in this collection are definitely the reds, they are super uniform and pigmented.
You'll see in the swatches.

001 India Intrigue

055 Stockholm Chic

So the verdict? For something that has the words "ColorStay" and "Stain" in it this product fails.
None of the colors left me with any leftover color or a stain.

On top of that the color comes off fairly easily. I ate with these on and, even though I was being
careful, after the meal none of the product was present on my lips.

The products also have a weird smell to them. Not exactly unpleasant but nothing good either. I can't for the life of me pin the smell down though.

They have a watery consistency but after they sit on your lips for a couple minutes they thicken up, A Lot.

They hard to apply, you get a lot of product on the edges of your lips, I don't know if it's the applicator or just the formula, the formula also feathers.

Overall if your going to get these go for the reds and London Posh.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in 200 Soft Beige

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in 200 Soft Beige
200 Soft Beige
I like the packaging, it's simple but modern.
You may think that the bottle is small but a little of this stuff goes a long way.
If you look below that blob was more than enough to cover the entire front of my thigh.

This is a blob of it on my thigh
As you can see in the picture above my thigh and scarred and has dark spots.

It really did give my thigh an airbrush look about it. This is in natural sun light.
The Liquid Mousse Foundation made it look like I had tights on. I gave my thigh an amazing airbrushed look.

I like that it's not opaque. It gives a more natural look.

This is the transition from Foundationed to Natural.
As you can see, you do have to make sure you rub it in :)
I like the formula it lasted well over four hours and it's super light and not greasy feeling. It doesn't really have a smell either.

Overall I would totally buy this again, but maybe in True Beige. I'll make the #StayMatteSwitch ;)

Swatch and Review of Hard Candy Ombre Lipstick in "764 Courageous"

One of the new additions from Hard Candy's Spring 2014 releases.
See my review of Hard Candy's Cheeks & Balances Highlight & Contour Cheek Duo here

Hard Candy Ombre Lipstick in "764 Courageous"
These are available in 10 shades. I got mine from my local Walmart for $6.

You scroll the makeup up by turning it.
Oh no! More of that nasty Saran Wrap packaging! :o
I'm a nut for pretty packaging, and I like the pretty metallic but I was disappointed with the packaging Hard Candy used. With this type of packaging dirt ends up building up underneath the edges and the wrapping ends up geting all wonky. Not only do I end up tearing off the plastic because it's unsightly, it's not hygienic.

Not a lot of product lol
I really hate this formula, I wanted to like it. I really did, but it's melty and has the staying power of mascara in a tsunami, yeah that bad lol. This formula also dries out my lips, which, admittedly, isn't that hard to do haha.

The Swatch
My first attempt
First did it wrong because I did the darker color on the inside of my lip.

There, that's better.
Now on my second attempt it looks better but don't even think about moving your lips, let alone eating or drinking with them. This formula is so melty it slides right off.

My lips dried off and the color faded about an hour after I applied it.

Honestly I'd rather use my better lipsticks and apply it with a brush. More time consuming but you get better color payoff and longer wear time.

I dislike this product. I wouldn't recommend.

Swatch and Review of Hard Candy Cheeks & Balances Highlight & Contour Cheek Duo in "805 Sweet Cheeks"

One of the new additions from Hard Candy's Spring 2014 releases.

First off, how cute is that name? Cheeks & Balances, hurr hurr lol.
Hard Candy's Cheeks & Balances Highlight & Contour Cheek Duo in "805 Sweet Cheeks"
These are available in 3 shades. I got mine from my local Walmart for $7

The blush packaging seems like it made out of a cheap light-weight plastic.
You spin the makeup up by the wheel near the bottom.

I didn't like how the design was just kind of Saran Wrapped on :(
I'm a nut for pretty packaging, and I was disappointed with the packaging Hard Candy used.
With this type of packaging dirt ends up building up underneath the edges and the wrapping ends up geting all wonky. Not only do I end up tearing off the plastic because it's unsightly, it's not hygienic.
This is it all scrolled up :)
When I first scrolled it all the way up I was like "wtf" but after using it I think that it will last me a good while, even though it doesn't look like much.

The Swatch. So Pretty and Shimmery!!!
This is a shimmery blush, definitely not matte, but don't fear! It doesn't make you look like a discoball! It shows up as a healthy, beautiful glow.

So even though the packaging sucks, the makeup itself is FABULOUS!

The formula is nice because you can easily build up the color, or not, it's really versatile.
The formula feels slightly grainy,  also kind of dry for a cream blush, if that makes sense.

BEFORE
Kinda War-Painty right? ;)

&

AFTER
I just blended it in a circular motion with my fingertips

I thought it seemed gimmicky and too good to be true but they really work!
I love this blush :)

I totally recommend <3
