[L'Oréal Paris] L'Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Volume Inject Mousse Review

L'Oréal Paris Ad featuring the beautiful Barbara Palvin

Oh, Barbara...

Anyways first up is the L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Volume Inject Mousse:
This product boasts about 24 Hour Body + Volume, I got it at Walmart for $3.99, and for the price I think it's very worth it.
L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Volume Inject Mousse

First off this stuff smells amazing, I think it smells perfumish and the scent lasts all day along with the volume! This could be a CON if you want to wear perfume lol. My fiance commented about how my whole 'do was making the whole car smell good lol.

BEFORE
AFTER

STYLED

I like how much volume it gave me, and the effects really did last the whole day, the mouse did make my hair feel a bit.. tacky? Not really tacky but you could definitely tell that I had product in my hair.

All in all I would probably buy this again.

GoJane shopping review

I've bought stuff from GoJane before and my experience varies everytime.

Word to the wise, if you're petite I would buy with caution, BE SURE to read the size measurements they provide on the product page. Their sizes are sometimes too big for me although occasionally I've bought a shirt or dress that fits okay. I'm also disapointed that their heels don't usually come in size 5. GoJane though always has me coming back for more, their stuff is just so cool!

Now to the main event:
My fiance was nice enough to buy me these shoes from GoJane,

We got them for $51 with a 40% off coupon code. If we paid full price I would be even madder.
The left one fits nice enough but the right shoe is defective!! If you pay $75 for something that something better be perfect.

The third strap from the bottom was sewn on crooked making it look ridiculous.

I throws off the entire silhouette from the front. The left shoe looks fabulous. The left shoe? Not so much.
This isn't the first time I've received faulty merchandise from GoJane. I honestly don't know if I'll buy from them again.

What I'm really mad about is how the merchandise is faulty but I still have to pay the return shipping cost. How turned around is that?

Because I love them so much I'm going to try to exchange them for a new pair, I know probably not the brightest idea but I'm gonna do it anyways. I'll tell you guys how it goes.

UPDATE!

So I just sent them a message after posting this and they already replyed back today, they were quick, kind, and courteous. My exchanged is already on it's way and they provided me with a return label so I won't have to pay for shipping!

With the way they handled things I definately will order from GoJane again, I'm VERY impressed with their customer service.

BH Cosmetics, Take Me To Brazil Eyeshadow Palette

So I was surfing the internet looking for gifts and I stumbled upon BH cosmetics. It originally retails at $19.95 but I used a coupon code and got it for $6.95. With shipping my order total was $14.90. I've been looking for a red eyeshadow and I really don't want to get one at Sephora for $24, so I got it.

Take Me To Brazil is a 30 Color Eyeshadow Palette
The site description is, "Wild and exotic colors await you inside the Take me to Brazil, 30 Color Eyeshadow Palette! This fantastic collection of shimmer, satin and matte eyeshadows is inspired by the outrageous Brazilian parade, Carnival! Get ready to Samba with this highly pigmented rainbow of colors in reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, and purples. Featuring 2 extra-large bonus eyeshadows in iridescent white and matte black that will help you add glow and mystery to your finished look!"

I was super excited for this palette, that red is brilliant!
I have mixed feelings about the makeup though.

I have smooth, non-oily skin and this stuff just doesn't stick to my skin at all, so I got my brush wet, big mistake. The eyeshadow almost gets like wet cardboard, it packs in and then gets kind of 'ball-y'. You know how if you get your finger wet and then rub a piece of paper or cardboard? It's like that.
With this makeup I'd say you need a primer. It's not all bad though. Once you break out a primer that's where the magic happens, aka that's when the eye shadows actually work.

Overall I'd say for $6 is an appropriate price for the quality of product you get. I definitely wouldn't pay $20 for this stuff. If you have a high quality primer it salvages it somewhat. I'm made I payed $7 to get this shipped to me.
If you want a no fuss eyeshadow palette that will last you for years then get a Profusion Glamifeye Shadows 36 color eyeshadow palette, it retails at $6.99 and the shadows are pigmented with staying power. I would buy it again for $15, it's that worth it trust me.

I'll be posting a review of it soon.

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

My skin isn't prone to breakouts, I might even venture to say that I've had about 5 zits in my 21 years of life. My pores aren't visible either but I've been fascinated by these so my lovely fiance will be my guinea pig. (Cue: thunder and cackling).

The pack come with 7 face strips and 7 nose stripes. Application is easy all you do is wet your face, peel off the clear backing and then press the strip firmly onto your skin. Then you wait 5-10 minutes or until the strip hardens.

Dustin (my fiance :)) says that it pulls when you take it off and it even hurts a little bit, or maybe like a tight pulling. <-- his words.

But he says he'd do it again. It's worth it. We both like that you can see the stuff that gets pulled out of the pores. It's the type of satisfaction you get when you see the pile of dirt that accumulates when you sweep lol.

Make sure you click on this image! It's pretty gnarly
.
I bought the box at Walmart for around $6 because I had a coupon although they retail at around 8 and something cents.

Dustin says that they're worth the price and likes how smooth it makes his skin feel afterward. We both notice smaller pores.

This is not something you would want to do everyday though. Dustin's poor nose was red afterwards.

I hope you liked the review of Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips!

Victoria's Secret, VS Fantasies, Ultra-Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream in Dare

Site description is, "Dare to be sexy—this rich limited-edition cream leaves a subtle scent of coral lily and lychee. This intensive formula provides 24-hour moisture with nourishing avocado and sweet almond oils."

I love this packaging! I love the metallic purple background with matte cheetah prints. The gold ups the elegance. I'm not sure why they added the black line in the middle. It cuts the eyes and it's just intrusive.

This lotion smells fruity but also heavier like a perfume. It is super thick and actually reminds me of the consistency of Greek yogurt lol. This lotion is so greasy that it actually makes my skin shiny.

It's nice but again at $14 I wouldn't buy it again. I got it for $5 during a holiday deal. I'd recommend this for someone who likes scented lotions but isn't looking for serious moisture.

An interesting note is that I'm allergic to tree nuts, and yet when I put these lotions on I didn't break out or anything. Note: I'm not recommend you try these if your allergic, I'm just saying.

Bath & Body Works, Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Fresh Sparkling Snow

I have never been into a Bath & Body Works before this holiday season, don't ask me why I just haven't. OMG I have experienced the magic! I am officially #addicted. I have bought so many products since then it almost makes up for the all the years I have been without. What? I got good holiday deals haha. Don't worry I plan on reviewing all the good stuff :)

Fresh Sparkling Snow is a holiday scent and it is yummy! Even better is that it foams! I remember as a kid, discovering foaming hand soap in bathrooms I would play around making a mess until my mom finally found me and yelled at me to stop lol.

I love the Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps because they actually leave your hands scented. The scent even lasts for several hours. Fresh Sparking Snow smells berry-ish, that's my best description. I feel the name is kind of deceptive because when I think of fresh snow I don't think of sweet berries lol.

The foam is thick and one pump is more than enough to cover my hands and swathe them in foamy goodness. When rinsing my hands get that squeaky clean feeling.

I love it. My (and my fiances!) other favorite Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap is Sea Island Cotton, we love that scent!
